Environmental Science
This course covers a range of topics and content related to the field of environmental science. A basic outline is as follows:
- Unit 1: Ecosystems
- Unit 2: Biodiversity
- Unit 3: Populations
- Unit 4: Earth Systems and Resources
- Unit 5: Land and Water Use
- Unit 6: Energy Resources and Consumption
- Unit 7: Atmospheric Pollutants
- Unit 8: Aquatic and Terrestrial Pollution
- Unit 9: Global Change
The amount and pace of content coverage will depend on the prior knowledge of students enrolled as well as class interest on various topics with a desire to dive deeper into specific content.

This class consists of a lecture on Monday and a hands-on lab on Thursday. Weather permitting, the hands-on lab is conducted at an outdoor location in the souther Warren County/norther Hunterdon County area.
